Job Title: Associate Corporate Counsel

Department / Division: Comm And Real Estate Transactions

Salary Range: $134,329 - $148,469

Location: Ada, MI

Day-to-day responsibilities include:
  • Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements, including:
    • SaaS and software licensing agreements
    • IT and technology contracts
    • R&D and AI-related agreements
  • Assessing legal and business risk while offering practical recommendations
  • Advising internal stakeholders across multiple functions and global regions
  • Supporting enterprise-wide initiatives, including AI governance and new market expansion
  • Leading legal support for specific projects or compliance areas (e.g., compliance with the Payment Card Industry - Data Security Standard )
  • Managing and documenting contract matters within Amway's matter management systems
  • Contributing to dispute resolution efforts, when needed
  • Identifying opportunities to improve legal processes and drive efficiencies

Tools & Environment:
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Matter management tools (e.g., Passport)
  • Fast-paced, high-volume environment with broad organizational exposure

Travel:
  • Minimal (occasional conferences or meetings)


Required Qualifications:
