Full Job Description
The Associate Business Intelligence Analyst supports Quality Data Reporting Services by developing, maintaining, and validating reporting and analytics solutions that enable data-driven decision making. This role partners with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate requirements into dashboards, reports, metrics, and visualizations using Power BI and related technologies. The Associate Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and usability of reporting solutions through data validation, report maintenance, and continuous improvement of reporting environments. This position combines data analysis, report development, stakeholder collaboration, and business intelligence support to deliver actionable insights across the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate those requirements into reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Analyze data using established methods and deliver accurate, actionable, and timely results.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and paginated reports.
  • Support the modernization, administration, and continuous improvement of Power BI reporting workspaces and reporting environments.
  • Create, maintain, and enhance data visualizations, metrics, scorecards, and key performance indicators.
  • Validate data sources, datasets, semantic models, cubes, dashboards, and paginated reports to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
  • Review, validate, and clean data; identify and resolve data inconsistencies.
  • Support Quality Data Reporting Services through report development, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Use established data sources and research alternative data sources when needed.
  • Collaborate with data owners and stakeholders to improve data quality and update reporting solutions.
  • Support validation of reporting data sources, data connections, and related data infrastructure.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation related to reporting solutions and data processes.


Required Qualifications:
  • BS degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Social Sciences, or related experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and Power BI.
  • Basic understanding of data structures, databases, and relational data concepts.
  • Ability to gather requirements from stakeholders and translate business needs into reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Strong analytical, systems thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, and project management skills.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, or data visualizations using Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Experience applying statistical skills in a manufacturing, electronics design, or business environment.
  • Experience validating data models, reporting solutions, or business intelligence systems.
  • Working knowledge of SQL.
  • Working knowledge of Python.

Pay Range: $33.00 - $50.00 per hour

We set starting pay based on job-related factors such as your experience, training, knowledge, and skills. We are looking to fill this position at the Associate Business Intelligence Analyst level, and we welcome applicants with a range of experience. Depending on your background, we may consider you for a different level, with compensation aligned accordingly.
