Conroe office is seeking a reliable and energetic associate attorney licensed to practice in Texas. As an associate, you'll be part of a collaborative environment, working closely with partners, colleagues, staff, and clients, gaining hands-on experience in every phase of litigation - all without the pressure of billable hour requirements. Starting Compensation $85,000 - $100,000 per year
Essential Duties- Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, notices, and judgments
- Conduct legal research and analyze issues, including chains of title and tax matters
- Prepare for dockets and represent clients in court appearances
- Collaborate with staff on collection and litigation activities
- Communicate with clients, taxpayers, and opposing counsel
- Participate in business development, including networking events and statewide conferences
Professional Skills- Effectively manage a large caseload
- Identify and analyze complex issues
- Provide research that is thorough and responsive to issue at hand
- Write in an organized, clear, and concise manner
- Work in a supervisory position
Required Experience- 0-2 years of legal experience preferred
- Admitted to the State Bar of Texas
