HeplerBroom LLC, a prominent defense firm, is excited to invite applications for a licensed Associate Attorney with at least 3 years of relevant experience to join our St. Louis, MO office. This position offers a unique chance to advance your career within a respected firm that specializes in civil defense and insurance coverage litigation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Case Management: Assist in managing insurance, personal injury, premises, and transportation litigation files.
  • Litigation: Defend case files from inception through trial, including handling depositions, drafting motions, and attending court hearings.
  • Client Interaction: Prepare detailed status and trial strategy reports for clients.
  • Discovery: Oversee all aspects of discovery, such as drafting and responding to interrogatories, production requests, and requests to admit.

Qualifications:
  • Legal Qualifications: Licensed and in good standing with the Missouri bar; Illinois license preferred but not required.
  • Skills and Experience: Strong organizational and communication skills, proactive in seeking guidance, solid research and analytical abilities, with deposition and meaningful litigation experience preferred.
