Purpose of the role

To develop and execute sales strategies to generate new business, maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, and achieve revenue targets.

Accountabilities
  • Development and maintenance of relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs and objectives.
  • Presentation and pitching of financial products and services to clients, tailored to their requirements.
  • Liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring smooth execution of client requests.
  • Stay updated on market trends, financial products, and industry regulations.
  • Collaboration with research analysts and other teams to provide clients with insights and market updates.
  • Negotiation of terms and agreements with clients to finalise sales transactions.

Join Barclays as a Securitized Products Sales AVP in Boston, where you will be responsible for distributing primary transactions and providing secondary market liquidity across a diverse mix of Securitized Products to institutional investors across North America. In this client-facing role, you will drive client engagement and deepen relationships with money managers, banks, hedge funds, and insurance companies for our leading Securitized Products franchise. You will work closely with Trading, Financing, Syndicate, and Research to deliver best-in-class market color, trade ideas, and financing solutions tailored to client needs across fast-paced fixed income markets

To be successful as a Securitized Products Sales AVP, you should have experience with:
  • Client Coverage & Execution: Managing and expanding institutional client relationships, executing transactions in primary and secondary RMBS (Agency & Non-Agency), ABS (Consumer, Esoterics), CMBS (Conduit, SASB), and CLO tranches (AAA through Equity).
  • Trade Idea Generation: Work with trading desks and research to formulate actionable, relative-value trade ideas and market commentary by evaluating cash flow dynamics, yield curves, spreads, prepayment assumptions, and credit structures.
  • Primary Syndicate Distribution: Partner with Securitized Products Origination and Syndicate desks to market, price, and distribute new issue transactions to institutional accounts.
  • Financing: Work with our partners in Securities Repo, Warehouse Financing, and Whole Loan Trading to deliver bespoke financing solutions to our clients.
  • Account Onboarding, Trade Booking, BWIC Management: Book trades for the desk, help with the bids-wanted process, and navigate the onboarding / KYC process with undivided attention to risk aversion.

Minimum Salary: $119,500

Maximum Salary: $175,000
