Job Overview:As an Assistant Vice President in Learning & Development, you will lead the facilitation function with accountability for people leadership, delivery quality, learner readiness, capacity planning, and execution across key business priorities. This role ensures learning experiences are effective, consistent, and aligned to business needs across onboarding, upskilling, reskilling, product launches, process changes, and transformation initiatives.
This leader will manage facilitation talent, strengthen delivery standards, build facilitator capability, and ensure resources are aligned to the highest-priority work. The role requires strong business partnership, operational discipline, executive communication, and the ability to use data, AI, and learning technology to improve decision-making, efficiency, and learner outcomes.
Responsibilities- Lead the facilitation operating model, including delivery standards, facilitator readiness, learner outcomes, capacity planning, and execution quality.
- Support learning operations, including demand intake, prioritization, scheduling, facilitator assignment, coverage planning, communications, logistics, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with workforce management and stakeholders for scheduling and use resource management and reporting tools to balance demand, facilitator skills, capacity, utilization, and delivery risk across programs and modalities.
- Implement and sustain standards for facilitator readiness, technical mastery, session preparation, learner engagement, accessibility, delivery quality, and follow-through.
- Drive certification, observation, calibration, and coaching practices that improve facilitator capability and learner outcomes.
- Provide direct people leadership to facilitators, including coaching, performance management, talent development, recognition, and accountability.
- Partner with business, product, operations, learning design, and other stakeholders to clarify performance needs, align delivery commitments, manage tradeoffs, and ensure content and facilitator readiness.
- Communicate priorities, capacity constraints, risks, dependencies, and recommendations with clarity and credibility, including with senior and executive stakeholders.
- Use data, reporting, forecasting tools, AI, and learning technology to assess capacity, monitor performance, identify risks, and improve facilitation effectiveness.
- Role-model agility, ownership, sound judgment, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment; facilitate high-visibility virtual or in-person sessions when business needs require.

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience in learning and development, education, business, communications, operations, organizational development, or related field.
- 10-15 years of progressive experience in learning and development, facilitation, learning operations, enablement, or a related function.
- 5+ years of people-management experience.

- Highly adaptable and resourceful, with the ability to redeploy people, shift priorities, and maintain quality amid ambiguity and rapid change.
- Data, AI, and learning technology fluency, with sound judgment regarding accuracy, privacy, human review, and responsible adoption.
- High problem-solving, critical-thinking, change-leadership, and continuous-improvement capability.
Pay Range: $100,013.00 - $166,757.00
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
