The AVP will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of Prime Brokerage activities, acting as a client-centric operational expert. They will oversee daily client servicing, trade support, and settlements, collaborating closely with Front Office, Operations, Risk, Finance, and Technology teams. This role demands a strong understanding of Equity and Fixed Income products, along with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client operational inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Expertly manage trade support functions, including trade capture, allocations, and settlement issue resolution for Equity and Fixed Income products.
  • Monitor client trade activity, cash movements, financing balances, and settlement obligations on a daily basis.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve trade breaks, fails, and reconciliation discrepancies efficiently.
  • Review and oversee the completion of daily operational controls, processes, and reporting requirements.
  • Support the onboarding and maintenance of Prime Brokerage client accounts, ensuring all documentation is in order.
  • Partner with Risk and Finance teams to monitor exposure, financing activity, and operational risk, providing valuable insights.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives, automation, and operational scalability to enhance efficiency.
