As an AssistantTerritory Inside Sales Manager, you'll play a critical role in executing Mapfre's growth strategy by partnering with independent insurance agencies across an assigned territory.

This highly visible role offers the opportunity to serve as a trusted advisor to agency partners, provide strategic guidance to internal stakeholders, and influence market performance. You'll develop and execute territory business plans, deliver consultative sales recommendations, and help shape the next generation of sales leaders through the mentorship and development of Territory Sales Managers.

What You'll Do

Lead Market Strategy
  • Drive Mapfre's market approach within your territory and provide thought leadership to both internal teams and agency partners.
  • Develop and execute territory business plans that support profitable growth and increased market share.


Build Strong Agency Partnerships
  • Cultivate productive relationships with agency leadership and key decision-makers.
  • Serve as a trusted consultant, influencing agency business strategy and growth initiatives.
  • Manage a portfolio of independent insurance agencies while identifying opportunities to expand business results.


Drive Growth and Performance
  • Deliver consultative sales recommendations that support agency success and Mapfre's strategic objectives.
  • Assess agency performance, analyze business trends, and translate insights into actionable growth strategies.
  • Execute initiatives designed to increase production, profitability, and market penetration.


Mentor Future Leaders
  • Support the development and growth of Territory Sales Managers by sharing best practices, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Foster professional development while helping build future sales leadership talent.


Present with Impact
  • Prepare and deliver compelling business reviews, sales presentations, and strategic recommendations to agency leadership and internal partners.
  • Effectively communicate complex business concepts to diverse audiences.


Collaborate Across Functions
  • Partner closely with Underwriting, Marketing, Service, and Claims teams to ensure effective execution of business objectives.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships that support agency and customer success.


Stay Ahead of the Industry
  • Maintain expertise in Mapfre products, systems, industry trends, market developments, and competitor positioning.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to document agency visits, track opportunities, and maintain visibility into business agreements and activities.


Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, or a related field required, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.


Experience
  • 2-8 years of experience within the Independent Insurance Agency marketplace, or an Associate Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • 7+ years of experience leading field sales initiatives and managing complex agency relationships.
  • Experience utilizing Salesforce or other CRM platforms.

Pay Transparency: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at Mapfre are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Salary Range: $59,000 - $120,000
