Assistant Superintendent - Modular who will support daily field operations and contributes to achieving departmental goals. They will facilitate communication among field teams and trade partners, including self-perform team members, promoting a collaborative and solution-oriented work environment. They reinforce adherence to safety and quality standards by following established procedures and participating in site safety meetings and inspections. They will contribute to accurate project documentation and reporting, supporting informed decision-making by project leadership. Finally, they will support identification and coordination of prefabrication opportunities by working with project teams and prefabrication partners to integrate prefabricated components into field execution plans. Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following:
Duties and Responsibilities- Supports the management and development of a team of field operations individuals, fostering skill growth and ensuring quality performance under guidance.
- Supervises daily site activities and applies sound judgment in implementing quality control measures, resolving routine issues and supporting solutions to unique field challenges to ensure compliance with project plans and safety protocols.
- Manages coordination of delivery and allocation of materials and equipment to support uninterrupted workflow.
- Monitors accurate daily logs and progress reports to document project activities and issues.
- Communicates routine updates and concerns to project leadership, enabling timely resolution of challenges.
- Participates in or leads safety meetings and site inspections to reinforce a culture of accountability.
- Supports field teams, including self-perform, in addressing routine operational issues and escalates more complex matters as needed.
- Creates and manages project schedules
- Coordinates with and monitors prefabrication facility quality, inventory, and progress. Provides support to prefabrication partners as needed.
- Travel is expected; flexibility is required.

Education and Experience - Associate's degree in construction management, engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience required.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
- 5 years of experience in field engineering, construction management, or a related field required.
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification preferred.
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
