ASSISTANT RESIDENTIAL DIRECTOR / REGISTERED NURSING TRAINER (RNT)

Naperville, Oak Brook, Plainfield, Bolingbrook, and Surrounding Areas

Compassionate Living Home, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse and DHS-Certified Registered Nursing Trainer (RNT) to serve as an Assistant Residential Director supporting multiple Community Integrated Living Arrangement (CILA) homes for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

This position is ideal for a nursing professional who is passionate about leadership, regulatory compliance, staff development, and ensuring exceptional quality of care for individuals served in residential settings.

COMPENSATION
• $46.00 - $52.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience
• $100 Weekly On-Call Stipend

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
• Serve as Assistant Residential Director for assigned CILA programs.
• Conduct Illinois DHS Rule 116 Medication Administration Training and Competency Evaluations.
• Provide nursing oversight and support to multiple residential homes.
• Monitor medication administration systems, physician orders, treatments, and health-related services.
• Conduct nursing assessments and health reviews.
• Assist with surveys, audits, investigations, corrective action plans, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Support Residential Supervisors, QIDPs, DSPs, and management staff through coaching, mentoring, and training.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and person-centered planning.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with Illinois DHS, IDPH, Rule 115, Rule 116, and agency requirements.
• Participate in rotating on-call responsibilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing.
• DHS Registered Nursing Trainer (RNT) Certification preferred.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Experience within CILA, ICF/DD, waiver, residential, or developmental disability services preferred.
• Knowledge of Illinois DHS regulations and medication administration requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Previous supervisory or management experience.
• Experience participating in DHS surveys and compliance reviews.
• Experience overseeing multiple residential programs.
• Knowledge of incident management, health care plans, behavior supports, and quality assurance processes.
