Full Job Description
Job Summary: Manage plan, and implement the delivery of registrar operations including maintenance of student information systems, production of data, queries and reports and general system coordination.
Job-Specific Responsibilities:

The Assistant Registrar for Enrollment Services will serve as a leader in Enrollment Services and a key member of the Registrar's management team. The Assistant Registrar will assist the Associate Registrar in leading the Enrollment Services team, which performs critical FAS enrollment functions, including registration, matriculation, student progress and degree auditing, enrollment data reporting, assessment of more than half a billion dollars in tuition and fees per year, student discipline outcomes, constituent services, degree certification, and graduation. This position will play a critical role in the assessment, prioritization and management of Enrollment Services related projects. The Assistant Registrar will supervise the Enrollment Services Coordinator, including assessing performance, guiding day-to-day activities, and utilizing resources wisely. This position will also contribute to the formulation of Registrar, College, and GSAS student enrollment policies and other Registrarial responsibilities as assigned

Additional Qualifications and Skills:
  • Master's degree in Higher Education or related management field preferred Advanced computer skills, specifically related to student databases and office productivity software
  • Ability to manage staff in a way that contributes to the goals of the Registrar
  • Proven experience showing good judgment and decision making Knowledge of federal, state and University regulations

Work Format Details

This position has been determined by school or unit leaders that some of the duties and responsibilities can be effectively performed at a non-Harvard location. The work schedule and location will be set by the department at its discretion and based upon operational needs. When not working at a Harvard or Harvard-designated location, employees in hybrid positions must work in a Harvard registered state in compliance with the University's Policy on Employment Outside of Massachusetts. Additional details will be discussed during the interview process. Certain visa types and funding sources may limit work location. Individuals must meet work location sponsorship requirements prior to employment.
