Department's Website:Summary of Job Duties:The Assistant Professor is responsible for providing inpatient and outpatient care while demonstrating a high level of clinical skill, expertise, and professional standards.
Qualifications:- M.D. or equivalent required.
- License to practice medicine or eligible for licensure in Arkansas.
- Completion of neurosurgery residency.
- Candidate must be ABNS board eligible (or equivalent).
Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive care for patients requiring neurosurgical services in accordance with established clinical and professional standards.
- Provide outpatient clinical care through scheduled clinic appointments.
- Participate in the neurosurgery call rotation to ensure continuity of patient care.
- Educate and mentor medical students and residents in clinical and academic settings.
- Develop and participate in clinical and/or scientific research activities.
- Contribute to scholarly publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
