Summary of Job Duties:

Responsibilities at this AACSB-accredited college include developing and teaching undergraduate courses in General Business and Management (Foundations of Business, Organizational Behavior, Business Analytics, Social Responsibility and Ethics, Project Management, Leadership, Operations Management, Entrepreneurship, and/or Supply Chain) as well as sustained interaction with business and industry. Other duties will include assessment/evaluation of instruction; career advisement, recruitment, and retention activities; and participation in college and University committees. The position reports to the department head of Business in the College of Business and Industry.
Qualifications:

Required Education and/or Work Experience: Ph.D. in Management or appropriately related field from an accredited institution (ABD with completion date no later than August 2026 considered)

Preferred Education and/or Work Experience: Previous teaching experience across multiple delivery modes including full online; extensive knowledge of current and emerging technologies relevant to the profession

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Classroom and online instruction

  • Scholarly activity sufficient to maintain faculty appointment including a consistent record of publishing in high-quality and impactful journals

  • Service to college and University, including career advising and committees

  • Curriculum planning, implementation, and evaluation

  • Assessment and evaluation of instruction

  • Engagement with the business community

Other Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Activities in support of the recruitment and retention of students

  • Attendance and participation in all faculty and administrative meetings, Student Research Symposium, commencement ceremonies, and other meetings/events as required

  • Other duties as assigned.

Responsible for maintaining a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner to foster teamwork and by providing leadership to subordinates. Requires consistent on-time attendance.

Salary Information:

$100,000 - $110,000/9 months commensurate with education and experience
