Full Job Description
This management-level role oversees critical warehouse functions, including Shipping, Receiving, Inventory Control, and Operations Planning. The ideal candidate will bring extensive manufacturing operations experience and a strong command of planning and scheduling concepts to ensure accurate, timely material flow across projects and departments. Acting as a key liaison between Operations Planning and AIT, this position drives efficiency, accuracy, and strategic inventory management while supervising warehouse personnel and supporting cross-functional coordination. This is an internal-only opportunity for a skilled operations professional ready to lead, optimize processes, and support the continued success of our production environment.
  • Supervise all Shipping/Receiving/Inventory Control operations & learn/coordinate with Operations Planning with a view to taking this on in time.
  • Oversee execution of warehouse operations and reports.
  • Supervise shipping and receiving and warehouse personnel.
  • Ensure a matched set of parts by the date expected for jobs and projects. Adjust when necessary and coordinate changes with affected personnel/stakeholders.
  • Attend meetings as needed and requested by senior management.
  • Track jobs and incoming material for projects and reports.
  • Pursue problematic parts on BOMs with buyers.
  • Follow up on late parts with buyers or parts not on order after a week.
  • Provide updates to projects on a periodic basis and as needed. Attend project material meetings as required.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and execute inventory pulls with AIT team and warehouse personnel and planning to ensure they get the job material when scheduled/expected.
  • Act as liaison between Operations Planning and Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT). E.g. attend AIT scheduling meetings. Ensure all AIT concerns are addressed and elevated as needed.
  • Analyze inventory balance and suggest MOHs/MOQs or other stock buffer strategies.
  • Seek opportunities to reduce excess inventory.
  • Support AIT material/transaction requests (part requests and/or serial number movement requests).
  • Provide weekly job kit plans.
  • Seek opportunities to improve data collection methods pertaining to inventory/WIP (individual part yields, cycle times, etc...) and act on data findings as necessary (i.e. set MOHs for lower yielding parts).

The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Competitive salary based on experience and education
Salary Range: $85,000-$95,000
