Job DescriptionAssistant Manager-Fund AccountingLivingston, NJ (Hybrid, three days per week onsite)Monday to Friday 9 am to 6 pmSome of the things you will be doing: - Manage client relationships
- Review financial statements, and support schedules, including waterfall calculations (GAAP & OCBOA)
- Review SBA compliance reporting, including SBA Form 468
- Review capital call & distribution calculations and letters
- Ensure that best practices are used by client service team and look for process improvements
- Assist internal teams with all client deliverables as needed
- Career development, supervision, and training of staff
- Assist with special projects as needed
- Perform internal administrative tasks, including document management and time tracking
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?- BS Degree in Accounting-CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Experience in portfolio/investment and partnership accounting required, experience leading a team is necessary
- Working knowledge of US GAAP
- Thorough understanding of key terms of fund documents
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, IF, XIRR, SUBTOTAL, ROUND, named ranges)
- Private equity accounting software experience a plus
- Able to multitask and perform tasks under strict deadlines
- Experience delegating, training, and supervising multiple staff
- Experience managing multiple client relationships
- Strong professional verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
At CSC, compensation decisions are dependent on a number of factors including job location and the knowledge and experience of each individual. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,000 to $120,000.
