Role Overview:

As a Regional Assistant Maintenance Manager (RAMM), you will manage maintenance operations across multiple delivery station sites in Davenport, IA, Burlington, IA, Quincy, IL, Ottawa, IL, North Pekin, IL and Springfield, IL . This position requires a dynamic leader capable of overseeing operational excellence, driving safety initiatives, and fostering collaboration across geographically dispersed locations. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager (MM) or Regional Maintenance Manager (RMM), the RAMM plays a critical role in optimizing performance, mentoring leaders, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities: On-Site Regional AMM

Safety Leadership
  • Promote a safety-first culture across assigned sites, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, training, and audits.
  • Champion safety metrics, including Safety Leadership Index and Good Catch/Near Miss reporting, and ensure consistency in safety practices across sites.
  • Collaborate with Regional Safety Specialists to address safety challenges and implement site-specific corrective actions.

Operational Excellence
  • Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs across multiple sites to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs, including PM/PdM completion rates, high-severity breakdown resolution, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Coordinate timely resolution of Site Issue Management (SIM) tickets and follow through on Permanent Corrective Actions (PCAs) and Root Cause Analyses (RCAs).

Leadership and Coordination
  • Manage maintenance operations across up to six delivery stations sites, ensuring consistency in execution and alignment with client and company goals.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for maintenance activities, coordinating efforts between site teams and regional leadership.
  • Communicate clear priorities and expectations to site leaders, aligning operations with C&W Services' strategic objectives.

Team Development
  • Supervise and support maintenance technicians, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings and team huddles to ensure alignment with site objectives and provide coaching on skill development.
  • Collaborate with the RMM or MM to identify high-potential employees and create structured development plans.

Collaboration and Client Support
  • Serve as a liaison between site leadership, RMMs, and Operations, ensuring seamless communication and addressing site-specific needs.
  • Support site launches by coordinating training, setup, and transitions, ensuring readiness and operational success.
  • Partner with site leaders to identify and implement process improvements, driving operational efficiency and client satisfaction.

Administrative Oversight
  • Monitor compliance with training completion requirements for assigned teams, ensuring all courses are completed.
  • Maintain data accuracy in systems, verify timely submission of timesheets and expense reports, and oversee inventory health across sites.
  • Ensure alignment with regional dashboards and provide updates on performance metrics to leadership.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience: 3+ years in a management role overseeing maintenance teams and multi-site operations, demonstrating strong leadership, safety commitment, and effective communication.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficient in preventive/predictive maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment, performed to established standards.
  • Work Availability: Must have the flexibility to work all shifts, including holidays and weekends, as required by operational needs.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, Management, or related field (preferred) OR 5+ years of relevant management experience
  • Advanced degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
  • Certification in maintenance management or reliability (e.g., CMRP, PMP).
  • Expertise with conveyor systems and robotics used in logistics and fulfillment centers.
  • Experience with Amazon RME processes, safety standards, and operational metrics.

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., crouch, kneel, bend, and reach as needed to install, move, or maintain equipment, including the use of aerial lifts or ladders.
  • Ability to perform tasks wearing appropriate or required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to hard hat, face mask, face shield, and composite toe shoes.
  • Ability to walk 6-12 miles daily, including climbing stairs or navigating multiple floors, to facilitate work across multiple sites.
  • Ability to perform duties in fluctuating temperatures and varying warehouse environments and type on a computer for 1-2 hours per day.
  • Ability to drive up to 6 hours per day between assigned locations, often requiring travel across multiple sites.
