Assistant Maintenance Manager with a background in
Reliability Engineering to lead a team focused on maximizing equipment life, reliability, and operational performance.
You will support operations within a fast-paced, high-growth logistics and fulfillment environment, working with equipment such as conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, robotics, print-and-apply systems, and SCADA systems.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and plan work activities for inventory control and maintenance planning technicians to meet North America Customer Fulfillment (NACF) goals
- Serve as the first level of escalation support for maintenance planning and inventory control teams, ensuring system and spare parts availability
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Start-Up Teams, Reliability, Central Planning, ACES, and Safety teams to optimize building systems and drive project execution
- Monitor equipment reliability metrics and prioritize maintenance and improvement initiatives
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement Permanent Corrective Actions (PCA)
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment uptime, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Leverage predictive and condition-based maintenance tools to minimize unplanned downtime
- Support technical skill assessments for maintenance team members
- Participate in reliability calls and collaborate with central reliability teams to execute initiatives
- Act as a communication bridge between site teams and central reliability leadership
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across employees, contractors, and vendors
- Provide technical guidance to maintenance technicians to align with operational goals
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure delivery against expectations and contracts
- Support the Maintenance Manager in executing short- and long-term site projects
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and cost-saving opportunities
- Perform data analysis and deep dives to identify key improvement areas
- Deploy and enhance predictive maintenance programs (Thermography, Vibration, Ultrasound)
- Develop and share best practices across sites
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Reliability Engineering, or related field OR equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in a Reliability Program Manager or similar role
- 5+ years of leadership experience, including team management, budgeting, supplier management, and customer relations
- Experience with CMMS systems and reporting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Experience with MHE, controls systems, PIT, and general building operations
- Project management experience
- Experience delivering technical training
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools, including:
- 5S
- 5 Whys
- FMEA
- PDCA
- Value Stream Mapping
- DMAIC
- Run Charts
- Pareto Analysis
Preferred Qualifications- Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to translate complex requirements into scalable processes
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and build accountability within teams
- Experience managing teams in industrial environments with conveyors, process controls, and powered industrial trucks
- Strong written and verbal communication, including negotiation and conflict resolution
- Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
- Experience in field service engineering
- Experience with conveyors and sortation systems
- Six Sigma certification
- Formal training and experience in Root Cause Analysis facilitation
- PMP certification
Technical Expertise:- Electrical and electronic principles
- Blueprint and electrical schematic reading
- CMMS systems supporting RCA initiatives
- Preventive maintenance procedures
- Industrial electrical, controls, and robotics systems

The compensation for the position is: $ 97,240.00 - $114,400.00
