Thornton Manor has the opportunity to welcome an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) - RN to join our team! We're seeking a skilled and compassionate nurse to assist our Director of Nursing in leading our team of nursing professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.

JOB HIGHLIGHTS:
  • Full-Time
  • Pay range $36 - $43.45/hr, increases depending on experience
  • Work 2-3 days/week AM floor shifts; other days will be administrative responsibilities - i.e. (wound care, Infection Prevention (IP), scheduling)
  • Every other weekend floor shift rotation
  • On-Call responsibilities


JOB SUMMARY:

As an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), you apply your nursing knowledge and experience by offering guidance on clinical matters, training, and education. Assist with development, implementation, and modification of policies and procedures. Provide system reviews to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, and effective clinical practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Hold current Registered Nurse (RN) license with applicable state, without restrictions, and/or ability to obtain a state-specific license
  • Demonstrates leadership ability
  • Must be capable of performing the Essential Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation
