Gig Harbor Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and experienced
Registered Nurse (RN) to join our leadership team as an
Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). This role supports the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily clinical operations, mentoring staff, and ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.
What You'll Do- Support the Director of Nursing in managing and supervising nursing staff.
- Mentor, train, and evaluate team members to promote clinical excellence.
- Oversee compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
- Assist with staff scheduling, onboarding, and performance management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to drive positive resident outcomes.
- Serve as acting DON in their absence.
What We're Looking For- Must hold a current, active RN license in Washington (required).
- Previous leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
- Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and best practices in nursing care.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Compassionate, team-oriented approach to resident care.
