Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee daily distribution center operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop supervisors, team leads, and frontline associates to optimize performance and engagement.
  • Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing OSHA standards, company safety policies, and best practices.
  • Productivity & Performance: Monitor and analyze KPIs such as order accuracy, on-time shipping, labor utilization, and cost control to drive continuous improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in workflows and implement solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Customer Focus: Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, working closely with internal teams and external partners to meet service expectations.
  • Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with inventory control teams to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce shrinkage.
  • Employee Engagement: Foster a positive work culture through effective communication, recognition programs, and professional development opportunities.
  • Technology & Systems Management: Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and data analytics tools to streamline operations and improve decision-making.
  • Budget & Cost Control: Assist in managing the distribution center's budget, controlling expenses, and optimizing resource allocation.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics operations, with at least 2 years in a senior supervisory or management role.


Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong leadership and people management skills.
    • Ability to analyze data and drive performance improvements.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in WMS, ERP, and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
    • Experience with lean methodologies or Six Sigma is a plus.
