MCA, your trusted advisor for wireless communications, data, and security, is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller in Charlotte, NCto support our growing central team.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and collections.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial accounts regularly.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare budget forecasts and financial projections to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounting software systems and process improvements.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
