Expected pay for this position is $32.22-$48.33. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.

Job Summary
The Assistant Controller assists the Director of Fiscal Services in overseeing the accounting and financial reporting functions of McDonough District Hospital and McDonough District Hospital Foundation. This position plays an active role in month-end close, financial statement preparation, general ledger accounting, payroll, accounts payable, audit preparation, and other financial activities. The Assistant Controller works closely with the Director of Fiscal Services to ensure financial information is accurate, timely, and prepared in accordance with established policies and applicable accounting standards.
Job Specifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.
Minimum four years of progressively responsible accounting, finance, or similar experience.
Healthcare accounting experience preferred.
Experience with general ledger and financial accounting systems preferred.
