Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience; leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial controls, and audit processes
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and integrity

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, GL maintenance, payroll accounting, and fixed assets
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely, accurate financial statements
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial schedules
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and process clarity
• Assist in developing and maintaining accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support financial analysis, cost tracking, and operational improvements
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles; monitor variances and provide actionable insights
• Help implement and optimize financial systems, tools, and reporting automation
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff; promote continuous improvement and professional development
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements
