Description

The Department of Psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine is recruiting a full-time psychologist to join our nationally recognized Psychological Medicine Section at Yale New Haven Hospital, the birthplace of proactive consultation-liaison (C-L) psychiatry.

This position has an administrative leadership role as Chief of Psychology. On the Consult Service, the clinical responsibilities include managing the multidisciplinary evaluation of patients on medical and surgical units at Yale New Haven Hospital and working collaboratively with a team of advanced practice providers, social workers, trainees, and clinical nurse specialists. Additional opportunities include teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

This position carries a faculty appointment within the Department of Psychiatry at the assistant or associate professor level, depending upon the candidate's qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

Candidate must have a PhD in Psychology.
