Full Job Description
The RDKB is currently seeking applications to fill a permanent, full-time Asset Manager position in Trail, BC. Reporting to the General Manager of Finance/CFO, the Asset Manager will be responsible for supporting the financial sustainability and long-term strategic asset management planning through infrastructure financial planning, long-term capital budgeting, reserve management, financial analysis, and corporate financial operations.

We value work/life balance, working 7 - 7.5 hours per day (summer/winter hours).

The preferred qualifications, experience and training to be considered for this opportunity are the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Management Analytics, Business Administration, Engineering, or other related discipline related to the delivery of asset management
  • Relevant professional training in asset management, such as Asset Management Professional program, Certified Asset Management Assessor credential or equivalent postgraduate training is considered an asset
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning, budgeting, or program management, including 3+ years leading capital asset management programs in a public or municipal environment
  • A suitable combination of education and experience relevant to the position may also be considered
  • Valid Class 5 BC Driver's license
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record Check

Position Information

Status: Full Time

Office Hours: Monday to Friday, 35-37.5 hours per week (winter/summer schedule)

Compensation: $122,407/year
