Zions Bancorporation is accepting application for our
Asset Based Lending Portfolio Manager located in either Salt Lake City, Houston, or Dallas. Our team partners with clients to deliver customized credit solutions that support growth while mitigating risk. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in supporting ABL operations within a collaborative, client-focused environment.
Ideal candidates will have the skills and experience necessary to:- Support the lending unit in legal documentation, closing, analyzing financial data, and managing both new and existing complex Asset-Based loans. Includes some underwriting responsibilities, particularly on existing portfolio.
- Responsibility for reporting on the credit quality of a loan portfolio.
- Establishing scope of work, ordering, reviewing of field exams.
- Prepare Credit Administration documentation, including the submission and presentation of underwriting memo for approval.
- Accountable for loan documentation, borrowing-base calculation, loan closing process, and internal on-boarding of new customers.
- Responsible to analyze, and document the financial performance of borrowers. Monitor compliance with financial and loan covenants.
- Manage troubled loans and workout situations.
- Required to build and maintain customer relationships with high satisfaction.
- Provide advice and counsel to clients regarding trends and conditions of the business environment, capital markets, and general banking trends.
- Manage department projects as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:- 2-8+ years in asset-based lending, underwriting, loan structuring, credit and portfolio management, field exam, loan documentation, loan workouts, monitoring collateral and credit performance, economic and industry evaluations, or other directly related experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and finance.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may meet qualification
- Working knowledge of accepted loan practices with emphasis on asset-based lending, underwriting, security prioritization, legal documentation, credit analysis and portfolio management.
- Strong work ethic.
- Must have solid interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets and financial modeling.
- Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, banking, or a related field
