Full Job Description
AT&T has an opening for anAsset Auditor to play a critical role in safeguarding customer and company assets in support of the RIS I mission. This position helps ensure accountability, compliance, and operational readiness by validating asset records, strengthening internal controls, and supporting accurate property management across the program.

This position requires office presence a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered. Work to be performed in Columbia, MD.

In this role, the Asset Auditor will help strengthen mission readiness by ensuring assets are accurately tracked, properly documented, and managed in accordance with program, customer, and internal control requirements. Key responsibilities include:
  • Safeguard customer and company assets by validating records, identifying discrepancies, and supporting timely resolution of property accountability issues.
  • Perform detailed reviews of asset records, reports, operating practices, and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with established internal control procedures.
  • Verify asset status and accountability by comparing physical inventory, system records, and required documentation.
  • Conduct property audits and contribute to the development, recommendation, and implementation of effective property administration policies and procedures.
  • Support quality and lifecycle management activities by helping develop plans and programs that promote accuracy, consistency, and asset integrity from receipt through disposition.
  • Monitor operational processes to help prevent defects, improve compliance, and ensure adherence to quality plans, contractual requirements, and customer expectations.
  • Prepare clear, accurate periodic and special-purpose reports that provide leaders with actionable insight into asset status, audit results, and compliance trends.


Required Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph. (#ts/sci) (#polygraph)

Additional Requirements: 8570 - CWIP Certification.

Required Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in asset accountability, audit readiness, compliance, and property management support, with the ability to operate in a mission-focused environment where accuracy, attention to detail, and sound judgment are essential. The Asset Auditor shall have 7 (seven) to 10 (10) years of experience, which may include a combination of work history and education. A master's degree is equivalent to 6 years of experience, a bachelor's degree is equivalent to 4 years of experience, and an associate degree is equivalent to 2 years of experience. The degree must be from an accredited college or university.
