Qualifications

• 5-10 years of asphalt production experience with knowledge of materials and plant operations.
• 3-5 years of leadership experience in team development and motivation.
• Thorough understanding of asphalt plant operations and ability to run a plant as needed.
• Knowledge of regulatory agency rules including OSHA/MSHA, EPA, and DOT.
• Strong financial and business acumen required.
• Excellent time management skills under pressure, handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record; commercial license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and promote a culture of safety compliant with OSHA, MSHA, and company standards.
• Develop and implement operational strategies while optimizing plant performance and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a professional image in operations including equipment and site upkeep.
• Hire, coach, and manage team members in collaboration with HR.
• Prepare asphalt mix solutions and accurate customer quotations based on project plans.
• Manage raw materials for hot mix asphalt production, ensuring quality delivery.
• Coordinate cross-departmental activities for seamless execution and quality control.
• Foster strong customer relationships and continuously improve products and services.
