We are presently seeking an experienced Full-Time ASIC Design for Test Engineer to help accelerate the pace of innovation with our customers. Expected Base Pay Scale (USD)

$100,000 - $165,000 annual base salary. The successful candidate's base pay depends on job-related skills, qualifications, experience, geographic location, and market conditions. The expected base pay scale may be adjusted based on market conditions.

Responsibilities

As an ASIC Design for Test Engineer, you will be part of a customer team. Primary responsibilities include the architecture and implementation of Design for Test structures for block and chip-level ASIC designs, developing test timing constraints, generating test patterns, simulating test patterns, and assuring appropriate test coverage metrics.

Minimum Qualifications

Requirements of an ASIC Design for Test Engineer include 5+ years of experience as an ASIC engineer and a BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering (with all the relevant coursework on digital/microprocessor design, computer architecture, VLSI design, software/programming courses).

  • Experience with Design for Test concepts such as scan, scan compression, MBIST, BSCAN, and macro test development
  • Experience with a range of internal and 3rd-party Design for Test tools
  • Experience with Static Timing Analysis for purposes of validating test timing requirements
  • Experience with logic simulation tools for validation of generated test patterns
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • This job position will or is likely to involve compliance with ITAR Regulations so all employees working in this capacity must be eligible under U.S. Export Control Laws, and accordingly applicants must be U.S. Persons. (i.e. a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, workers granted asylum, or workers granted refugee status)


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with System-On-Chip (SOC) designs (i.e. ARM)
  • Experience with DFT architecture for large scale ASIC designs
