YOUR ROLE AS A AS/400 PROGRAMMER-ANALYST: As an AS/400 Programmer-Analyst, you will play a central role in the analysis, development, integration, and support of critical business applications on the IBM i (AS/400) platform. Working closely with cross-functional departmental teams, you will design effective solutions and ensure the seamless evolution of our core systems. Qualifications Required: • DEC or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in analysis and development on the IBM i (AS/400) platform. • Strong proficiency in RPG III, RPG IV, RPGLE, and SQL. • Solid practical working knowledge of DB2 databases. • Proven experience in business process analysis, writing functional/technical specifications, and supporting critical production applications. • Outstanding analytical skills, initiative, strong management of priorities, and excellent communication/collaboration skills. Nice to Have / Qualities: • Experience working within a manufacturing environment. • Knowledge of system integration tools and methodologies (e.g., EDI, APIs). • Exposure to project management and continuous improvement practices.
