Are you a craft-obsessed designer ready to sharpen and elevate the visual identity of a global brand? As our Art Director, you will be a hands-on creative force behind Benevity's brand, pushing the quality, consistency, and impact of our visual work across every touchpoint. You live for the details: the type pairing that finally clicks, the layout that makes data feel human, and the system that makes good design repeatable. This role is for someone who loves concepting, designing, and refining, while helping uplevel the craft of everyone around them. This position is ideal for a designer who thinks visually first, has an eye that cannot let mediocre work slide, and wants to raise the bar on what "on-brand" looks like at Benevity. What you'll do: • Own and maintain our visual identity system to ensure it stays modern, accessible, and consistent across all platforms • Maintain and strengthen the brand design system and guidelines so teams can easily produce high-quality work • Design and produce creative assets with a sharp eye for typography, color, composition, and motion • Audit and refine existing brand assets and campaigns to elevate them to a higher visual standard • Lead brainstorms and concept development for major marketing programs, product launches, and thought leadership content • Provide constructive creative feedback and mentorship to share techniques and raise the quality bar across the team • Partner with cross-functional teams to bring strong visual thinking to briefs and support a unified brand experience • Direct creative for video, motion content, and web experiences to ensure alignment with our brand standards • Champion the smart and effective use of AI-powered design tools within the creative team • Lead the creative team's intake process, project prioritization, and capacity planning to ensure sustainable workloads What you'll bring: • 8 or more years of experience in brand design with at least 3 years of creative leadership experience for B2B brands • A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional design execution across digital, print, and campaign work • An obsessive and well-trained eye for typography, color, layout, and visual hierarchy • Exceptional visual storytelling skills and the ability to articulate design decisions clearly to stakeholders • Expert-level proficiency in modern and evolving digital design tools • The versatility to move fluidly between high-impact hero assets and quick-turn creative work • A highly collaborative mindset with comfort giving and receiving direct and constructive creative feedback • Strong organizational skills to manage timelines, track deliverables, and balance capacity in project management tools like Asana Where We Work At Benevity, we embrace a flexible hybrid approach to where we work that empowers our people in a way that supports great work, strong relationships, and personal well-being.
