Overview

LMI is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Army Operations Support Consultant with diverse experience blending strategic management, human-centered design, and data analysis to support complex federal and corporate objectives. This person will have proven expertise in executive advisory, day-to-day operations, talent integration, and stakeholder engagement. Adept at managing the shifting complexities of everyday team life while maintaining a metrics-driven focus on long-term organizational strategy.

Onsite in Aberdeen MD at least three days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Provides comprehensive and strategic support to the Army client.
  • Drives daily team rhythm and supports the client directly to manage schedules, provide process optimization, and ensure client action items and taskers are complete.
  • Acts as a strategic buffer and primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, triaging incoming requests, filtering distractions, and prioritizing critical decision points for the client.
  • Coordinates complex meetings, conferences, and events, including logistics and attendee management.
  • Proactively builds and organizes materials to prepare the client for high-stakes leadership engagements.
  • Assists with thinking through communications and storytelling of the client's mission.
  • Translates operational data and qualitative feedback into an actionable strategy.


Qualifications

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Organizational Leadership, Communications, or a related field.
  • This role demands exceptional organizational skills, discretion, the ability to anticipate needs, and a high level of professionalism.
  • 5-8 years of experience in management consulting, business analysis, operations, or senior executive advisory roles.
  • Mastery of MS Office 365, with advanced proficiency in SharePoint, MS Teams, and Excel for tracking workflows and managing data.
  • Proven track record of managing competing priorities in high-velocity, ambiguous, or rapidly scaling environments.


Preferred Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of experience directly supporting federal clients, preferably within the Army or Department of Defense.
  • Understand military culture, rank structure, and standard operating procedures.
  • Experience with Power Apps, Automate, or BI.
  • Experience working alongside technical or engineering teams with the ability to grasp technical concepts enough to help tell the mission story.
  • Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Human-Centered Design.

Clearance
  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret.


The target salary range for this position is $97,000-$166,000.
