Position Summary

The Vice President Corporate Accounts East is responsible for delivering Teleflex revenue and growth objectives for the business units, while providing leadership and strategy for the North American GPO and IDN accounts.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Develop sales strategy & direct sales processes, policies, and initiatives. Execute strategic marketing plan.
  • Responsible for driving the achievement of sales, business goals & objectives.
  • Motivate/lead a high perfoming sales leadership team. Facilitate the growth, development & performance of the corporate account directors to maintain a high level of effective leadership.
  • Create & foster a culture consistent with Teleflex Core Values.
  • Represent the organization with KOLs & senior level decision makers in key accounts, GPOs & IDNs.
  • Manage negotiations & process developments with decision makers including creation, presentation, & implementation of financial programs and proposals
  • Evaluate GPO and IDN contract opportunities and recommend adoption or rejection.
  • Manage and enforce corporate accounts sales budgets.
  • Develop pricing strategies aligned with market conditions and financial goals, and support pricing negotiations.
  • Create and monitor sales reports to drive sales performance and respond to market trends.
  • Develop national & territory revenue forecast.
  • Drive short- and long-term strategic growth planning.
  • Lead the annual North America Kickoff Meeting.
  • Sponsor Customer Experience (CX) initiatives.
  • Partner with A/R leadership to ensure contract payment compliance.
  • Develop account plans and growth strategies for key IDNs and health systems.
  • Identify expansion opportunities and increase market share.
  • Lead cross-functional account teams and align business unit priorities into a unified customer strategy.


Education / Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 5-7 years of proven sales experience driving the sales process throughout an entire hospital system
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Able to travel up to 50% of time with easy access to major airport from home location.


Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

  • Sales Management experience
  • Possess a valid driver's license and operate a motor vehicle with satisfactory driving records
  • Establish and maintain vendor credentials to have the ability to enter and work, as required, in hospitals and other medical facilities as an essential function of the job.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $265,000 - $285,000 however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Commissions will also vary depending on individual performance. The total compensation package for this position will also include benefits such as medical, prescription drug, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, participation in 401(k) savings plan, and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO, short- and long-term disability and parental leave, dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
