Full Job Description
Successful Area Vice Presidents are energetic, highly motivated leaders with an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong desire to take ownership of their business. They are passionate about developing people, improving operations, and creating an exceptional experience for every customer who visits our wash.

The primary purpose of an Area Vice President is to develop, support, and guide our Operating Partners as they lead their teams and manage their locations. The Area Vice President works closely with Operating Partners to build strong, successful teams, develop future leaders, drive business performance, and ensure we consistently deliver exceptional service and an exceptionally clean wash to every customer.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being in the field, working alongside their team, solving problems, identifying opportunities, and seeing the results of their efforts. Job Responsibilities:

  • Build a pipeline of employees for promotion to management positions.
  • Continually train and work with the Operating Partners on their skills in
    customer relations.
  • Maintain preventative maintenance program at all locations.
  • Ensure that all company processes and procedures are being followed.
  • Increase the retention of successful managers and employees.
  • Maintaining budgeted standards for chemicals, utilities, and equipment repair and replacement.
  • Increasing car counts over same quarter previous year per location.
  • Achieve the budgeted HR percentage.
  • Achieve profit goals.
  • Reduce the number of customer complaints that go above the store level.
  • Network with local businesses, churches, youth organizations to increase
    community presence.
  • Communicate and provide training of all marketing programs to sites in a
    timely manner. Also, give feedback on all marketing programs.
  • Provide recruiting support to the operating partner as needed.

Job Requirements:
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in business, entrepreneurship, hospitality, or related field.
  • Management Experience.
  • Available to travel between sites.

  • Ability to move about the wash site, take part in all required maintenance
    procedures, fill in for all roles when short staffed. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop and climb a ladder.
  • Willingness to step in and cover for any role when a site is short staffed.

  • This position will support multiple Big Dan's locations in the Fairburn, Decatur, Acworth, and Cartersville areas. The ideal candidate should live within or be willing to relocate to a reasonable driving distance of these locations and be able to travel regularly between sites as needed. A central location within the Atlanta metro area, such as the Smyrna/Vinings/Cumberland area, is preferred.
