Pavion and our family of companies is seeking an Area General Manager to join our security business unit. An Area General Manager (AGM) typically oversees sales, operations, or other functions within a specific geographic region, leading teams and ensuring profitability and strategic alignment with company goals. They build relationships with clients, motivate teams by building a strong culture, and contribute to overall company growth. In essence, an AGM is a strategic leader who is responsible for driving business performance and building strong relationships within a specific geographic region. They are the cultural leader for their workforce helping shape the shared vision of "one Pavion". Clearly understands how to operate in a Matrix management setting .
Primary Responsibilities: Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and inspire regional teams, providing guidance and mentorship
- Motivate and coach team members to achieve goals and develop their careers
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
- Allocate and manage regional budgets effectively
- Ensure compliance with company standards and regulations
- Continuously assess and improve regional performance
- Drive Safety through the region
- Cultural Leader driving "One Pavion" message to Org
- Locally develop talent pipelines to assist overall TA strategy
- OLR development of workforce, succession plans
Sales and Business Development:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue and achieve profitability
- Grow business year over year
- Identify and cultivate key client relationships
- Contribute to strategic business development initiatives
- Build strategic alliance with the National accounts group
Operations and Performance:
- Oversee regional operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Grow business year over year
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales progress.
- Analyze sales data and identify areas for improvement.
- Drive to keep Cash collections optimized
Strategic Planning and Communication:
- Work with senior executives to establish regional goals and objectives
- Represent the company in client meetings and industry events
- Communicate effectively with teams, clients, and stakeholders
- Look for potential M&A targets within region
- Identify trends in the markets business
Relationship Building:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels
- Collaborate with key stakeholders in internal departments and corporate resources
Basic Qualifications: - High school diploma
- 15+ years of experience in management experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Able to read and interpret financial statements
- Experience forecasting and budgeting
- Experience in relationship and client management
- Strategic thinker, experience problem solving and driving results
- Able to redirect and pivot based on changes in client needs
- Experience with change management
- Experience operating in a risk management and compliance environment
- Able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Experience leading and developing a team
Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in business management, personnel management, project management or related
Salary: $175 - 200k + bonus depending on experience
