Full Job Description
We're seeking an experienced Area Director of Operations to join our leadership team. In this role, you will support and guide a portfolio of assisted living communities, partnering with Executive Directors to ensure outstanding resident care, strong team performance, and operational success. Reporting to the Regional Vice President, you'll serve as a key leader driving quality, compliance, and growth.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide leadership and operational support to Executive Directors across multiple communities
  • Drive resident satisfaction, service excellence, and regulatory compliance
  • Oversee financial performance including budgets, occupancy, and revenue growth
  • Partner with leadership teams to recruit, develop, and retain top talent
  • Collaborate on sales and marketing strategies to strengthen occupancy
  • Ensure community environments are well-maintained, safe, and aligned with company standards
  • Fulfill interim Executive Director responsibilities for vacant roles within the region


What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, Business, Hospitality or related field. (Master's preferred)
  • Must be a licensed Assisted Living Administrator in the state of Florida
  • 5+ years of successful leadership and Executive Director experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality
  • Proven track record in multi-site operations, team development, and financial management
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to resident-centered care and organizational values
  • Flexibility for frequent travel (up to 75%) within the state of Florida for assigned region or other areas of Florida as needed
  • Must be in current role for 6 months minimum and in good standing with performance
