Picture yourself brightening someone's day. When you join our Hotels team, that's exactly what you'll do every time you come to work! As an Area Director of Sales and Marketing, you're not just overseeing commercial strategies for the hotels - you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Responsibilities

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
  • Drive total revenue performance: Lead sales and marketing efforts across all segments, including group, catering, business transient, and leisure, to achieve revenue goals and profitability targets
  • Develop commercial strategy: Set and execute the hotel's multi-year commercial plan in partnership with on-property and regional leaders, aligning enterprise solutions with local market needs
  • Optimize pricing and business mix: Collaborate with Commercial Leadership to implement pricing strategies, forecast demand, and define the optimal mix of business for each period
  • Analyze performance and convert insights to action: Lead the Sales & Marketing Optimization Process, using data to identify opportunities, adjust tactics, and communicate performance drivers through regular commercial reviews
  • Lead marketing and digital strategy: Oversee B2B marketing, digital campaigns, social media, PR, and online content to strengthen brand presence and demand generation
  • Ensure brand alignment and operational excellence: Oversee sales and marketing activities to ensure consistency with brand standards, corporate identity, and enterprise communication tools
  • Cultivate a high-performing team: Recruit new talent while driving team growth and engagement through performance management, professional development, and recognition programs
