Description

As an Architectural Designer at Apogee, you will transform conceptual ideas into clear, complete, and accurate architectural plans, construction documents, and detail drawings. This role requires a passionate, driven professional who thrives on collaboration, innovation, and problem-solving while balancing design intent with constructability. Working closely with architects, engineers, and project teams, you will develop high-quality, code-compliant design solutions and contribute to projects from concept through documentation. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence, with a desire to grow in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce high-quality architectural drawings, construction documents, and design deliverables using Revit software.
  • Develop plans, elevations, sections, details, and visual presentations from sketches, markups, and design concepts.
  • Translate design intent into innovative, practical, and constructible solutions.
  • Coordinate designs with architects, engineers, and project teams to ensure project success.
  • Conduct site visits, document existing conditions, and incorporate findings into design development.
  • Participate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and interdisciplinary coordination meetings.
  • Ensure drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
  • Communicate design rationale and recommendations clearly to clients and stakeholders.
  • Research building materials, products, technologies, and industry trends to inform design decisions.
  • Apply quality control measures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of project deliverables.
  • Support construction administration activities, including responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals.
  • Manage multiple priorities while meeting project schedules and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


Qualifications:
  • Healthcare Experience is preferred
  • Education Requirement: Associates Degree; Bachelor of Arts or Science in Architecture or related discipline (preferred).
  • Work Experience: Three of more years of architectural drafting experience
  • Computer Skills: Revit, MS Office Suite, Enscape
  • Licenses/Certifications: Working towards Architectural Licensure.
  • Travel: up to 20% depending on project
