The estimated base salary range for this role is $80,000 to $110,000 per year.
Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors (salary may be adjusted based on geographic location)

Armstrong World Industries, Inc. (AWI) has a job opportunity to join the South Central sales team as an Architectural & Design Sales Manager covering Houston and College Station, Texas. Reporting to the Regional Specification Manager, the Architectural & Design Sales Manager interacts with architects, designers, consultants, owners, distribution, contractors, and facility managers to influence the specification of Armstrong Commercial Ceiling, Wall and Specialty Systems. Working together with other members of the sales team, this role is responsible for meeting or exceeding the sales budget regarding price, volume, and mix to drive improved business results.

What You9;ll Do
  • Achieve the territory9s sales goals and grow the business by increasing market share, improving product mix, increasing average unit price, sales, volume, and introducing new products.
  • Influence people who make the specification decisions and have a positive influence on others9 behavior.
  • Assist architects and designers in writing specifications for Armstrong commercial ceilings, suspension systems, Architectural Specialties, and wall systems.
  • Track and manage projects through SalesForce.com to develop actionable sales strategies
  • Grow the business and increase market share by creating customer value and competitive advantage.
  • Learn and continuously improve through individual and team learning and development initiatives.
  • Clearly communicate Armstrong specifications, advantages, and installation methods to customers and influencers
  • Utilize sales reports, Excel, and business warehouse tools to manage pricing and identify market opportunities

Qualifications
  • Bachelor9s degree in Business, Construction Science, or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience will be considered
