About the Role:

IMAX is seeking a Supply Chain Systems & Innovation Architect to lead the digital transformation of our global supply chain ecosystem. Reporting to the Senior Director, Supply Chain Operations, this strategic engineering role will define and execute the technical roadmap for supply chain systems, automation, and AI-driven innovation.

This is a hands-on role for a builder and systems thinker who is passionate about optimizing operations through technology. The successful candidate will design and implement intelligent workflows, automated business processes, forecasting models, and AI-powered solutions that integrate seamlessly across procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and planning. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will play a key role in modernizing IMAX's supply chain and driving operational excellence through scalable digital solutions.

Responsibilities
Supply Chain Systems & Process Optimization
  • Lead end-to-end supply chain process reviews to identify operational bottlenecks and design scalable, high-impact workflow improvements
  • Optimize global supply chain operations through process automation, intelligent workflows, and data-driven solutions
  • Design and maintain digital supply chain tools to improve operational visibility, capacity planning, and production scheduling
  • Develop logistics solutions that automate carrier interactions, shipment tracking, and quote management
  • Ensure all solutions align with IMAX operational standards, security requirements, and continuous improvement objectives


Digital Transformation & AI Innovation
  • Design and implement AI-driven workflows, intelligent automation, and agentic solutions across supply chain operations
  • Build and integrate APIs, workflow automations, and data pipelines connecting enterprise systems
  • Deploy Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions to automate document processing, data extraction, and administrative workflows
  • Apply predictive analytics and machine learning concepts to improve forecasting, inventory optimization, and supply chain risk management
  • Transform complex operational challenges into scalable automation solutions using AI, scripting, and workflow orchestration platforms


Data Analytics & Business Intelligence
  • Develop executive dashboards, operational scorecards, and supply chain performance metrics using Power BI and related tools
  • Deliver actionable insights through forecasting models, risk reporting, and operational analytics
  • Ensure data integrity, governance, and consistency across supply chain reporting platforms
  • Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization through advanced analytics


Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner with Finance, Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Operations teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for supply chain technology, automation, and digital transformation initiatives
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to operations teams to drive adoption of new technologies and process improvements
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making across the organization


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • 7-10 years of experience in supply chain engineering, systems architecture, digital operations, manufacturing systems, or related technical environments
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing, supply chain operations, logistics, and production planning
  • Expert-level proficiency with Smartsheet, including Control Center, DataMesh, and Dynamic View
  • Advanced experience with Power BI for data modeling, dashboard development, and business intelligence reporting
  • Proven experience building APIs, system integrations, workflow automation, and logic-based scripting solutions
  • Hands-on experience implementing Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions within enterprise environments
  • Strong understanding of AI orchestration platforms, predictive analytics, machine learning concepts, and intelligent automation
  • Experience designing scalable data architectures, automated workflows, and enterprise integration solutions
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences


Nice to Haves
  • Experience with cloud platforms, enterprise integration tools, and workflow automation technologies
  • Knowledge of ERP, MRP, or supply chain planning systems
