The role will focus on Digital Employee Experience (DEX) and End-User Computing (EUC) architecture across Workspace ONE UEM, Horizon, Omnissa Access, and third-party security ecosystems. The architect will establish enterprise standards, lead complex integrations, transform endpoint and virtual desktop telemetry into actionable intelligence, and provide technical authority across engineering, security, and helpdesk teams. This is a senior/principal architect-level individual contributor role requiring 13+ years of experience, an onsite interview, and onsite work in Columbus, New Jersey, or Plano.
Key Responsibilities
• Own the end-to-end architecture of Omnissa Intelligence across UEM, Horizon, and Access-managed environments, including data ingestion, correlation models, and multi-tenant/multi-org design.
• Define reference architectures for telemetry aggregation from Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub, Horizon agents, and third-party integrations across hybrid-cloud and on-premises deployments.
• Establish governance standards for dashboards, KPIs, and data retention across Omnissa shared services including data, workflows, AI/ML, and identity.
• Produce and maintain Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), high-level and low-level design documents, and platform roadmaps aligned with enterprise IT strategy.
• Architect low-code automation workflows using Freestyle Orchestrator or equivalent orchestration tools to enable proactive remediation.
• Lead integration of Trust Network security partners such as Mobile Threat Defense and CASB solutions into Omnissa Intelligence for contextual risk scoring and automated threat response.
• Design and oversee ITSM integrations such as ServiceNow through the Workspace ONE ITSM Connector to connect Intelligence insights with incident and problem management processes.
• Evaluate and integrate Omni, the platform's embedded AI assistant, into support and analytics workflows.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex root-cause analysis spanning endpoints, networks, virtual desktop sessions, and application performance.
• Define and track enterprise DEX KPIs including device compliance, boot/login times, application crash and hang rates, sentiment scores, and VDI session health.
• Present DEX trends, insights, and recommendations to senior IT leadership.
• Continuously tune experience scoring and machine-learning-driven insights based on real-world user feedback.
• Drive capacity planning, licensing strategy, and cost optimization for the Omnissa Intelligence service and its data connectors.
• Mentor DEX analysts, EUC engineers, and helpdesk/L2 teams on interpreting Intelligence dashboards and acting on automated insights.
• Partner with security, network, and infrastructure architecture teams to ensure Intelligence-driven automation aligns with enterprise risk and compliance requirements.
• Represent the digital workplace architecture function in vendor discussions and provide feedback on platform capabilities and roadmap priorities.
Required Qualifications
• 13+ years of overall professional experience.
• 8+ years of experience in end-user computing, digital workplace, or IT infrastructure roles, including 3+ years in an architect-level capacity.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience architecting or operating Omnissa Intelligence or its predecessor, Workspace ONE Intelligence, in a large-scale production environment.
• Deep working knowledge of Workspace ONE UEM and Horizon architectures.
• Proven experience designing and deploying low-code/no-code automation workflows using Freestyle Orchestrator or equivalent orchestration tooling.
• Strong understanding of EUC and DEX architecture principles, including device compliance, application performance monitoring, VDI session health, and sentiment/experience analytics.
• Experience correlating multi-source telemetry across endpoint, network, virtual environment, and security platforms to support large-scale root-cause analysis.
• Excellent stakeholder management and technical communication skills, including experience presenting architecture and outcomes to executive audiences.
• Ability to work onsite in Columbus, NJ, Plano, TX, or the specified New Jersey location.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience architecting integrations with Trust Network security partners such as Lookout Mobile Threat Defense or Netskope CASB.
• Experience integrating ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow with EUC telemetry and automation pipelines.
• Omnissa/VMware architect-level certifications in Digital Workspace, UEM, Horizon, or related specialist/expert tracks.
