Department's Website:Summary of Job Duties:We are seeking a Primary Care APRN who will provide comprehensive, adult patient-centered care across the lifespan, including health promotion, disease prevention, acute and chronic disease management, and coordination of care. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, the APRN will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients while promoting evidence-based practice, patient education, and continuity of care to improve individual and population health outcomes.

Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:- Master's Degree in Nursing - Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
- Two (2) years of RN experience. One (1) year of Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) experience.
- Licensed Registered Nurse in Arkansas; Arkansas APRN License, or eligible for licensure. Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification
Preferred Qualifications:- Four (4) years of RN experience. Two (2) years of Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) experience.
- Prescriptive authority and DEA license must be obtained after hire.
- Primary Care clinic experience.

- Extend patient care and administrative services of UAMS physicians.
