Journeyman Heavy Duty MechanicThe Role- Diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy-duty trucks and equipment
- Perform Commercial Vehicle Inspections (CVIP) if licensed
- Diagnose and repair Detroit Diesel and Cummins engines (asset)
- Work with mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and air systems
- Maintain accurate service records and follow OEM specifications
- Monday to Friday day shift 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Education- Journeyman Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician certification
- CVIP License is a strong asset
- Class 1 or Class 3 driver's license is an asset
Experience- 5+ years of experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic on commercial trucks
- Detroit Diesel and/or Cummins engine experience is an asset
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
