We are seeking a Level 3 Application/Software Architect for an Ottawa-based position from August 2026 to July 2027. Candidates must hold a SECRET security clearance and have at least 10 years of experience as an Application/Software Architect, including a minimum of three years within the last five years working in a military or federal government environment. Recent experience must include programming for Linux and Windows 10/11 operating systems and using Tactical Data Links and network components within secure and unsecure environments. Candidates must also have at least three recent years of experience developing technical architectures, frameworks and strategies for a federal government organization or major commercial vendor.

Candidates must demonstrate at least five years of experience installing or coordinating the installation of network hardware and software, supporting personal computer and mainframe interaction, performing vendor-directed network upgrades, and configuring equipment. Additional experience is required in resolving connectivity and technical problems; maintaining user, equipment, service, warranty, wiring and problem-resolution records; preparing work plans, schedules and progress reports; training users; coordinating network installation, operation and maintenance; monitoring network traffic; conducting capacity planning; and implementing and testing disaster recovery plans for Local Area Networks and Wide Area Networks.
