Full Job Description
Amphenol Pcd is seeking an Application Engineer II to join our team in Beverly, MA. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting product development and driving commercial strategy through technical expertise and market insight. You'll prepare competitive proposals, conduct product gap analyses, and contribute to multi-year product planning. As a subject matter expert, you'll engage directly with customers to provide both technical solutions and commercial support. This position offers a clear growth path into product management and strategic leadership roles.

Essential Functions:
  • Develop a deep understanding of product applications and effectively communicate technical usage and benefits.
  • Generate technical and commercial proposals for new and existing customer solutions.
  • Support customer and sales team inquiries with expert knowledge of assigned APCD products.
  • Triage and resolve customer problems, coordinating appropriate internal actions.
  • Build relationships with Amphenol Sales & Distribution partners through training and on-site visits.
  • Maintain and enhance sales collateral, as well as contribute to the product development pipeline.
  • Conduct product gap analyses and assist in multi-year product planning.
  • Support a diverse portfolio of strategic key accounts across the United States, with travel commitments ranging from 25% to 30%.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills / Qualifications:

Required Education:

The base salary range for this role is $90,000 USD - $110,000 USD, plus bonus. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. PCD considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Due to the nature of our business, the candidate must be able to legally work in the United States; we are unable to provide sponsorship. Position requires candidate to be a U.S. person as defined in ITAR, 22 CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizenship or Resident Alien Status) and defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a) (20).
