Full Job Description
Responsible for Application Engineering activities for Conveyor Products. The role involves implementing the segment's strategy while maintaining balance between strategic initiatives and operational tasks, with a special focus on providing on-site support and troubleshooting applications for our main customer in Arizona. HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT • Initiate and supervise implementation of related Application Engineering activities (Customer projects, technical changes, quality improvements) • Conduct field inspections, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting for Conveyor Products • Safeguards committed standards of quality guidelines (internal and external), quality awareness, customer quality targets and observes customer care commitments • Segment strategy development and execution with their area of responsibility including deployment to and through their teams. • Analyze the market and technology and provide input to business strategies • Aligns with Product Development and Product Management of requirements and needs for the region • Attends strategic meetings with customers, conferences etc. to provide technical input or present the best engineered solution as possible • Selects and suggests best suited product specification for the application Qualifications WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering(preferred) or related technical degree. • 2+ years of experience in application engineering or a comparable function in the mining industry • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • Strong MS Office suite experience (Excel and PPT) • Strong problem-solving skills • Up to 50% travel to customer sites for application support, project execution, and field troubleshooting ADDITIONAL WAYS TO STAND OUT • 5+ years of Mining Industry experience • Experience with industrial conveyor systems • Experience in direct customer facing roles Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
