Working on applications and information systems in a clinical environment requires a special balance of skills. The Application Clinical Analyst must be able to assess needs and troubleshoot solutions, maintain application upgrade plans, and implement new apps as needed – all while understanding and working around the challenges present in a clinical position.


EPIC Cupid or Clinical Cardiology experience preferred


  • Act as a Franciscan Alliance applications expert in the creation of training programs.
  • Research, analyze and present potential system enhancement needs.
  • Design, configure, and support Franciscan Alliance applications based on standards and guidelines.
  • Document and build workflow, standards, and business processes to facilitate knowledge sharing within and across teams to identify the requirements for Franciscan Alliance application functionality and workflow.
  • Provide expertise in the respective clinical discipline to serve as a conduit between Information Services and the clinical end user.
  • Provide on-call support, including after-hours support, for team and customers following the Franciscan Alliance support model.
  • Provide testing for Franciscan Alliance applications and workflow.
  • Solve problems by analyzing information and using logic to address issues and problems.
  • Work with vendors in implementing, upgrading, supporting, and troubleshooting applications.
  • Manage projects that do not require PMO oversight.

QUALIFICATIONS


  • Required High School Diploma/GED
  • Preferred Associate's Degree in Radiology/Cardiology specialty areas
  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Radiology/Cardiology specialty areas
  • 5 years relevant clinical position experience Required
  • EPIC Certified or Accredited (if required by role) - EPIC 90 days if not already certified
