Lung Screening and Nodule PA/NP in Pinehurst, NC

 

Help detect cancer earlier. Make a lasting impact. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider to join our Lung Cancer Program recently recognized as a Center of Excellence by GO2 for Lung Cancer, reflecting the exceptional quality of care we provide and our innovative approach to identifying lung cancer at its earliest, most treatable stages.

 

Position Highlights
  • Play an important role in early detection and evaluation of lung cancer.
  • Monday through Friday schedule.
  • 100% outpatient. No nights, weekends, or hospital call responsibilities.
  • Focus on evaluation and management of patients through our centralized lung screening and incidental nodule management program.
  • Work collaboratively with Pulmonology, Thoracic Surgery, Oncology, Nurse Navigators, and Lung Nodule Program Coordinators.
  • Participate in a highly coordinated, patient-centered model of care.
  • Work alongside a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team.
  • Opportunity to become an expert in lung nodule evaluation and lung cancer screening.

Qualifications
  • PA must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification.
  • NP must be a graduate of a nurse practitioner education program and have national certification.
  • At least 2 years of Advanced Practice experience, preferably in pulmonology, oncology, or thoracic surgery.
  • Clean background, NC license, NC DEA, and BLS certification required.
