Area Process Manager - People & Reliability Systems, Quality and Operations Support - PS&D

Eastover Mill

Eastover's Area Process Manager (APM) - Product Scheduling and Delivery APM is expected to manage all aspects of Eastover's PS&D Department with a strong focus on safety, quality, people development, reliability, and outage coordination. In addition to these responsibilities, the APM will manage approximately 23 Operating Technicians, providing leadership, timely and effective communications and ensuring product quality. As manager of the shift teams, APM will be responsible for managing long-term development of the team and each team member, including one-to-one coaching and performance management. The APM will serve as the manager for the PS&D Operations Maintenance Coordinator, ensuring there is continuous communications and collaboration between PS&D and Maintenance resources regarding equipment care. APM will ensure strong communications and partnering with the other operating areas and Maintenance to provide continuous improvement of mill processes, with focus on the paper area as a primary internal customer. Additional responsibilities include planning, budgeting, cost management, process modifications and capital upgrades for area equipment. The APM will assume weekend call rotation for the PS&D Department.

Required qualifications include:

Preferred qualifications include:
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Reliability processes
  • Experience with PS&D or other finishing operations
  • Knowledge of ISO systems and continuous improvement tools
  • Knowledge of 5S principles
  • Strong Drive for Results
  • Strong analytical and data trending skills
