APLA Senior Operations Coordinator

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON

If this is you, you'll be on the APLA AS and SW SP team working with planning, inventory management, merchandising and marketing teams focus on Sportswear Specialty channel. You will forecast consumer demand and inventory for Nike products to maximize consumer relevance while driving revenue and optimizing inventory. You will drive accuracy and operational excellence for the business through attention to detail, cross-functional coordination, and communication.

You will use analytics, technology, sales data and cross-functional input to develop long-range product-based sales and inventory investment forecasts. This will be used to advise product investment and capacity for your marketplace, merchandising, finance, marketing and Supply & Inventory Planning partners.

Off-Cadence Buying Process
  • Owning the end-to-end operational process for off-cadence buys for upcoming seasons.
  • Manage QS product launch date changes, SKU-level planning, create size curves, and finalize buys.
  • Work across teams: Energy, MSC, S&IM, Marketing to ensure partners are aware of the status of projects for launch.
  • Own SAP contract administration for off-cadence buys, including contract updates and validation to support accurate product ordering and launch execution


Seasonal Program Management
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment to deliver on key products and launch moments.
  • In-season Business Management: Communication of final seasonal assortments, partnering with forecasting & execution across all 5 territories.
  • Seasonal CODE integration across Energy and NSW plans.
  • Owner of planning databases to manage APLA launches to in collaboration with Global, Geo, Territory launch planning.


WHAT YOU WILL BRING
  • Bachelor's degree in planning, operations, merchandising or related business field or equivalent combination of education, experience and training.
  • 3 years' experience in merchandise planning, company planning, allocations or operations.
  • Proven track record in retail, assortment and/or merchandising planning, inclusive of planning across revenue, margin and inventory.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex and/or sensitive topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience; experience working with highly diverse international team preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of retail math; ability to interpret sales data to make decisions and recommendations that impact the business.
  • Experience working across multiple business platforms, including owned and partner businesses.
  • Familiarity with merchandise and forecasting management systems.
  • PC literate with proven understanding of Excel (formula fluency, experience with pivot tables & data management).
  • Knowledge of Energy apparel and footwear market preferred.
  • Knowledge of Airtable and SAP systems preferred.
